McGill-ASLI Course on Space Law and Governance in Africa

The course explores the intersection of international space law, national legislation, and regional cooperation in the African context. Participants will examine the role of international law in the regulation of outer space activities as well as examine the legal principles, policies, and practices that shape the development, regulation, and utilisation of space resources and technologies in Africa.

Africa-UK Space Tour

ASLI participated in the first Africa-UK Space Tour organised by InnovateUK KTN, RISA and RIIS. Participants of the tour visited London (Royal Aeronautical Society and Seraphim Space), Leicester (Leicester Space Park and National Space Center), Harwell (Satellite Applications Catapult, OpenCosmos and ESA Business Incubation Center), Edinburgh (Scottish Parliament, Space Scotland and Scottish Africa Business Association) and Glasgow (Skyrora and University of Strathclyde).
